The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the early childhood policy of the City of Geneva by managing municipal childcare structures and supporting the subsidized childcare structures. To complete our teams at the Monique Bauer-Laggier early childhood structure, an extended childcare structure, we are looking for a professional in early childhood at 40%. Your mission and responsibilities:- Organize the care and support of children (0 to 4 years) while ensuring quality and compliance with current regulations.- Contribute to and ensure the implementation of the educational project of the childcare structure and institution.- Develop and implement actions related to the educational project.- Accompany and supervise the activities of interns, students, social educators, and assistants.- Create a group dynamic favorable to the awakening, development, and well-being of children (0 to 4 years).- Ensure communication and the sharing of information with families.- Collaborate in meetings and exchanges with representatives of the profile.Profile:- Hold a diploma from the Geneva or Lausanne Higher School and an early childhood diploma (ESEDE) or any recognized equivalent diploma by the SEFRI.- Demonstrate a spirit of enthusiasm, openness, and kindness.- Show listening skills, good stress management, and ease in communication.- Justify a minimum of 2 years of successful experience in early childhood.Conditions and registration procedure:- Registration deadline: - Start date: - Position classification: Class I of the salary scale.The application dossier must include the following elements:- Cover letter or, if not available, a completed job application form (to be downloaded from our website).- Copies of diplomas and work certificates.- Recent passport-sized photo.Following the City of Geneva's process, recruitment is decentralized.
