Chief Operating Officer (COO) - HealthTech Scale-Up

Location: UK (Hybrid - London/Cambridge preferred)

Salary: £110,000 - £140,000 + equity

Timeline: Appointment required by November 2025

About the Company

We are supporting a fast-growing HealthTech scale-up with strong investor backing and rapid year-on-year growth. With a clear three to five year growth cycle and plans for international expansion, this company is at a pivotal stage in its journey.

Joining as Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will work closely with the CEO and Board to deliver strategy, scale operations, and drive long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

As COO, you will:

• Partner with the CEO and Board to shape and execute growth strategy.
• Scale and professionalise operations across Operations, Finance, Customer Success, and Data.
• Lead on commercial performance and investor engagement.
• Ensure operational excellence and prepare the business for international expansion.
• Drive the journey from Series A through to exit.

Requirements

We are looking for a senior operations leader with:

• Proven experience in scaling high-growth businesses.
• Background in HealthTech, SaaS, or digital health (desirable but not essential).
• Experience navigating the private equity cycle (Series A through to exit).
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with a hands-on, scale-up approach.
• Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skills
