Job Description
Overview 
Our client is seeking a Chief of Staff to support the CEO in driving strategic priorities, managing executive operations and ensuring seamless communication across the organisation. This high-impact role requires a trusted advisor who can connect strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the CEO in meetings, calls and daily operations, acting as a proxy where appropriate.
- Anticipate the CEO's priorities and proactively address needs before they arise.
- Serve as a liaison across the organisation, connecting teams and initiatives and surfacing critical insights.
- Translate CEO directives into clear, actionable steps for teams and departments.
- Analyse challenges, prepare briefing notes and support informed decision-making.
- Identify operational gaps and collaborate with teams to streamline processes and remove obstacles.
- Prepare the CEO for meetings internally and externally, gathering relevant context and briefing materials.
- Capture meeting outcomes, assign follow-ups, and ensure decisions are executed efficiently.
- Lead or support high-priority cross-functional projects, monitoring progress and accountability.
- Coordinate strategic initiatives and ensure follow-through on objectives.
- Assist with board and executive reporting, including preparation of materials, agendas and inputs.
- Manage the CEO's calendar, aligning time with strategic priorities.
- Oversee the CEO's inbox, triaging communications, responding where possible and escalating only critical issues.
- Be available for urgent matters when needed, providing swift support and problem-solving in high-stakes situations.
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or executive leadership support.
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders, simplify complexity and shift between strategic and operational priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, trusted by leadership and respected across teams.
- Discretion, integrity, and the ability to manage sensitive information.
- Proactive, adaptable, resourceful, and intuitive with strong judgment and curiosity.
- Highly organised, business-savvy and intuitive.
- Comfortable navigating both strategic planning and operational execution.
- Thrives on enabling leadership to focus on priorities and keeping initiatives moving efficiently.
