Overview:

Our client, a leading mid-market private equity firm, is seeking a dynamic, commercially astute, and technically strong Chief Financial Officer to join a fast-growing financial services business headquartered in the UK. With current revenues exceeding £25 million and a robust platform for expansion, the company is embarking on an ambitious buy-and-build strategy ahead of a planned exit in the next 3-5 years.

The Role:

This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced CFO with a proven track record in private equity environments. The CFO will report directly to the CEO and serve as the primary liaison to the private equity investors, driving value creation and financial performance across the business. You will also partner closely with the Board and executive leadership to support strategic decision-making, M&A execution, and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall financial strategy, planning, and forecasting across the group.
• Drive value creation through data-led financial analysis and performance management.
• Oversee M&A execution and integration as part of an aggressive buy-and-build strategy.
• Prepare the business for a successful exit, managing due diligence and financial modelling.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and the Board, influencing strategic direction.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Ensure compliance, risk management, and strong corporate governance.
• Provide robust internal and external financial reporting to all stakeholders.
