Lead Loxford School Trust through its next phase of development, ensuring strong educational performance and strong outcomes for pupils, supporting staff and the wider education system.
About the TrustLoxford School Trust is a group of seven schools educating more than 8,000 pupils across London and Essex. We have developed a consistent approach to curriculum, teaching, assessment, safeguarding and inclusion, and we continue to refine our systems as the Trust grows.
Responsibilities- Lead the Trust through a period of organisational consolidation, continued performance and planned expansion.
- Work with the Board to shape long term strategy and ensure that schools continue to deliver strong outcomes.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding and inclusion and develop the systems and culture needed for sustainable growth.
- Oversee the improvement model, ensuring curriculum, teaching and assessment are consistent with Trust expectations and that data is used formatively to drive improvement.
- Support the Board in fulfilling its statutory duties and ensure governance structures are clear, transparent and effective.
- Represent the Trust externally, building relationships with local authorities, regulators, sector bodies and potential partners.
- Lead organisational change, support leaders through transition and ensure staff engagement and professional development remain central to our culture.
- Strong background in education and a clear track record of leading improvement at scale.
- Experience working with senior leaders, holding them to account and supporting them to deliver consistent outcomes across multiple schools.
- Knowledge of governance, regulatory frameworks and the responsibilities of an Accounting Officer, including ESFA compliance, audit, risk and assurance.
- Experience in financial planning, estate strategy, digital systems and organisational development.
- Ability to build strong relationships with headteachers, staff, trustees and external partners, communicate with clarity and influence at local and regional levels.
