The role: As a Chemical Engineering Industrial Placement Student, you will help drive our goals by: Contribute to projects and development tasks involving leading technologies, ensuring adherence to JM health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures. Take responsibility for accurate calculations, datasheets, and drawings that define process engineering requirements. Develop Basic Engineering Packages, including heat and mass balances, process specifications, P&IDs, and process safety and hydraulic designs. Execute process engineering design activities to schedule and budget, supporting the business with quality technical advice for customers and suppliers. Key skills that will help you succeed in this role : Currently studying an IChemE-accredited MEng Chemical Engineering course with a placement year option. Passionate about applying chemical engineering to development, design, and operations in the chemical industry. Demonstrates strong safety awareness, adaptability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
