Job Title: Cook Extraordinaire - Bring Flavour and Fun to Our Residential Home!

Location: Hengoed Park, Gobowen, Oswestry. SY10 7EE

Salary: £13.88 with a side order of great company and a dash of joy!

Position: Full-time with alternate weekends

Hours: 7.30am to 6pm

We are looking for a cook extraordinaire who is more than just a recipe, if you can serve a ladle of laughter, give a sprinkle of kindness and a scoop of joy then we would love you to join our team!

Here are the main ingredients

Checking the daily menu and preparing ingredients, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and in-date.

To ensure that all residents' dietary needs are met, to also ensure that kitchen staff are aware of any dietary food restrictions for specific residents (e.g. allergies, cultural considerations).

Ensure that all food is temperature checked prior to serving and is ready for service in a timely manner.

To ensure a high level of hygiene is maintained.

Act as a champion for Hengoed Park through excellent communication, appropriate behaviour and professional appearance.

Work within Hengoed Park's Safeguarding procedures and report any safeguarding events to your line manager immediately.

Act at all times within your own skills and competence.

Ensure that you contribute positively to the safeguarding culture at Hengoed Park and if you become aware of real or suspected abuse report it promptly as required by the Safeguarding procedure.

Please note that a Enhanced DBS Check will be required if successful
