Chef Supervisor - Full Time
Belfast
Reed is recruiting an experienced Chef Supervisor for a full-time, site-based catering role in Belfast. This is a hands-on leadership position with strong daytime hours and excellent pay.
Role Details
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm
- 1 in 4 Saturdays (paid as overtime)
- £17.05 per hour
- Free parking & free EV charging
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and supervising high-quality food service
- Menu planning, ordering, and stock control
- Ensuring full compliance with HACCP, COSHH, and allergen controls
- Managing food costs, portion control, and waste
- Daily till, safe, and monthly banking procedures
- Supervising, training, and motivating kitchen staff
- Updating digital menus and supporting occasional events
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef Supervisor / Managing Chef
- Strong food safety and health & safety knowledge
- Proven leadership experience in a professional kitchen
- Financial awareness including budget and stock control
- Relevant culinary qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
