Chef Manager - Term Time Only

Enhance Catering is supporting a valued client in recruiting a Chef Manager to support the catering operation at a wonderful primary school in Scarborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, hands on chef who enjoys leading a small team, working with fresh ingredients, and delivering a high quality food service.

You will be a Chef Manager, Cook Manager, Head Chef or Sous Chef ready to step up, with excellent cooking and people-management skills. You take pride in running a well organised, efficient kitchen and are confident producing high quality meals.

• Lead and manage 1 team member
• Catering for approx. 150 covers daily
• Prepare and deliver fresh, seasonal food to a consistently high standard
• Manage, motivate, and develop a small catering team
• Ensure full compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and due diligence requirements
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with onsite stakeholders and clients
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
• Drive food quality, consistency, and presentation

• Pay Rate - £21,000 per annum
• Working Hours - 35 hours per week 7.00am to 2.30pm
• Working Weeks - 39 (term time only)
