Chef Manager - Only 30 Hours Pw Term Time Only!

Enhance Catering is supporting a valued client in recruiting a Relief Chef Manager to support the catering operations at there primary schools in the Nottingham area. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, hands on chef who enjoys leading a team, working with fresh ingredients, and delivering a high quality food service.

You will be an experienced Chef Manager, Cook Manager, Strong Head Chef, Sous Chef or ambitious CDP ready to step up, with excellent cooking and people-management skills. You take pride in running a well organised, efficient kitchen and are confident producing high quality meals at volume.

• Lead and manage small teams
• Catering for 100+ covers daily
• Prepare and deliver fresh, seasonal food to a consistently high standard
• Manage, motivate, and develop the catering team
• Ensure full compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and due diligence requirements
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with onsite stakeholders and clients
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
• Drive food quality, consistency, and presentation

• Pay Rate - £19,000 per annum
• Working Hours - 30 hours per week 7.30am to 2pm (these hours may vary slightly depending on the school)

Essential Requirement for this role:

• Commute time within an hour of Nottingham
• Previous Head Chef, Chef Manager, Cook, Sous, CDP experience (ideally B&I, Education or healthcare. Fresh food pubs/ restaurants will be considered)
