About the Role

1 Year Fixed Term, following successful 6-month probation, leading to a Permanent Role.

Predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

Earn up £30,000

Whilst no qualifications are required, they are desirable, however, previous experience of working in a kitchen/catering environment is essential. All applicants will complete a comprehensive training programme in conjunction with our mentoring scheme upon arrival to Cuffley. However, you do need the following:

• Experience in a similar kitchen/catering role, preferably with managerial experience/knowledge
• Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative
• A high level of interpersonal skills and team values
• Good communication skills
• Good IT skills for emails, stock take etc.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a hygienic and safe working environment
• Cooking and serving food to students and staff
• Managing the food budget
• Managing the dietary requirements of students and staff
• Maintenance of stock levels and ordering
• Working with multiple departments to ensure clear and concise communication
