Chef de Partie (Maternity Leave Cover)

Jesus College is seeking to appoint a Chef de Partie to work as part of the highly successful and forward-thinking kitchen team. This is a twelve-month fixed term appointment to cover a period of maternity leave.

We are seeking an experienced and competent individual who has the skills and confidence to hit the ground running. You will be able to take direction but also be relied upon to work without close supervision as you will deliver high standard meals to both internal and external users of the catering areas. The successful candidate will be expected to prepare, cook and present food as directed by the Head Chef and/or Sous Chef across all the College's kitchen operations and be comfortable working in all sections of the kitchen. They will take responsibility for some aspects of the kitchen and oversee the running of the section they are rostered on, including ensuring the procurement of ingredients in collaboration with the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

Candidates should have a minimum NVQ qualification Level 2, preferable Level 3.
