Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the culinary team of a prestigious luxury resort in County Kildare. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated chef who thrives in a high-volume, high-quality kitchen environment and is committed to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Working alongside a talented brigade of chefs, the successful candidate will be responsible for running a designated section of the kitchen, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities- Take full responsibility for the smooth operation of your assigned section.
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards in line with brand expectations.
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all dishes.
- Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with menu development and daily specials in collaboration with senior chefs.
- Supervise and support junior kitchen team members, providing guidance and training.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen organisation, cleanliness, and stock control.
- Minimise food waste and support cost control initiatives.
- Work collaboratively within a large kitchen brigade in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
- Experience in high-end hotels, resorts, fine dining restaurants, or luxury hospitality environments.
- Strong technical cooking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and modern cooking techniques.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Full knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
