Chef de Partie

Upstairs at the Grill, a leading fine dining steakhouse in Chester, is looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join its established kitchen brigade. Inspired by classic Manhattan steakhouses, we are known for premium steaks, fresh food, high-quality produce and a refined dining experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Chef de Partie looking to develop their career in a professional, produce-led kitchen with strong work/life balance and a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Run your section efficiently and consistently during service
• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes using fresh, premium ingredients
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain standards
• Support junior chefs with training and day-to-day guidance
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards
• Assist with stock rotation, prep and section organisation

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie
• Passion for fresh food, quality produce and fine dining standards
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy service environment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
