Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure ingredient availability
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods
Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety standards, including proper storage and handling of ingredients
Support junior kitchen staff by providing guidance and training as required
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas based on current culinary trends
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety procedures
Previous kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential
A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and continuous professional development
