CHEF DE PARTIE, PENRITH AREA, £30,000,

LOVELY COUNTRY HOTEL, MODERN KITCHEN

ALL FRESH MENU, INDEPENDENT OWNERS

Our clients operate this stunning country hotel and restaurant, commutable from Penrith, Keswick and Grasmere, being both a destination hotel and restaurant, and wedding venue, and both require an experienced & professional CDP to join the team.

This lovely hotel, widely regarded as one of the region's finest hotels, prides themselves both on the food created here, and the quality of the service and operation, & are looking to recruit an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team in this very talented team in the modern kitchen, you WILL learn here.

With an emphasis on local, seasonal foods, cooked using modern & interesting techniques, with the latest chefs kit, this really is a great opportunity for a career minded chef to really make a name for themselves, working in a very supportive environment for a chef who wants to learn.

The ideal Chef de Partie will have the following attributes:
  • Have experience working with fresh food, be it in Restaurant, Hotel or Gastro pub
  • Some banqueting experience would help
  • Ideally worked in a fresh food led kitchen, although a desire to learn is just as important here
  • Be able to demonstrate at least 1 year in a similar position, no jumpy chefs here
  • Own transport would be ideal due to the semi-rural location
  • Have the desire & attitude to learn every day, soak up the style of service, and high standards of the kitchens, & bring a sound work ethic to the team, hard work, passion & desire are the attributes my client is looking for
