An Education Chef is required in Chelmsford for temporary assignments starting in September, working with Berkeley Scott and Impact Food Group across school kitchens. This Chef role offers term-time hours, competitive weekly pay, and weekends off, suiting those seeking weekday work with a balanced schedule. Successful candidates will prepare nutritious meals for students, manage kitchen hygiene, and follow menu plans. Strong culinary skills, relevant experience, and a valid food hygiene certificate are essential. - Supervising and supporting kitchen assistants during service
- Adhering to all food safety and health andamp; safety regulations
- Minimum 6 months experience as senior Chef andndash; preferably in a school or similar environment
- Right to work in the UK andndash; sponsorship is not available for these roles
- Enhanced DBS with child workforce or willing to obtain is essential
- Strong, reliable, and excellent communication skills are essential
- A passion for providing healthy meals for children and young people
- Minimum Level 2 Food Safety and Allergens, as well as additional compliance training, is essential and will be provided free of charge for all applicants
