Care Home Chef - Full-time, 4 days per week (7:30am - 5:30pm), every other weekend off - £16.60 per hour

In the heart of Wetherby, you will support our Chef Manager in delivering delicious, nutritious, and visually stunning dishes to our 75 residents every single day.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Chef Manager to design menus, experiment with fresh seasonal produce, and cater to unique dietary needs.
• Lead kitchen operations in the Chef Manager's absence, ensuring smooth delivery of meals.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and quality across all kitchen activities.
• Support the team in a user friendly, collaborative way to keep the kitchen running efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a senior kitchen role (preferably in a care home setting).
• Strong leadership, menu planning, and food safety skills.
• Ability to work independently and support team members in a fast paced environment.
