Chef

We are inviting applications for the role of a Chef at our Canopy Restaurant, in Castlemartyr Resort.

The successful candidate will assist the Executive Chef and Head Chef. The ideal candidate will have a good attitude and a genuine passion for food and delivering quality.

Knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential:

• Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work well in a team in a busy kitchen environment.
• Be reliable, committed and professional with a positive attitude to work.
• Desire to progress their career.

Personal Qualities

• Ability to show a positive attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties include but are not exclusive to:

• Prepare and produce breakfast meals and preparation work for any other section to which you are assigned.
• Prepare staff meals, varied and nutritional, for the staff restaurant.
• Adhere to Food Hygiene and HACCP Regulations.
• Operate all kitchen standard equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work efficiently and be environmentally conscious to minimise waste.
• Report any faults in equipment, fixtures and fittings to Chef or Supervisor.
• Carry out cleaning and ensure all cleaning schedules are adhered to.
