Chef

Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for someone to work in our kitchen and work with us to develop our food offering at our restaurant location. The Chef will be responsible for preparing delicious and unique dishes inspired by the area, crafting menus, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. The role will involve working closely with the business owners to create innovative culinary offerings that differentiates the business from others and aligns with our specialty coffee brand.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen.
Develop and design seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary to maintain high standards of quality.

Qualifications

Ability to drive or get to the location is a must!
Passion for coffee culture and innovation
Proven experience as in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in both cooking and presentation.
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
