We are seeking a passionate and skilled live in Chef to help us open our 4th independent pub The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in creating exceptional dining experiences . This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a vibrant hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food production and preparation, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
Supervise daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimise kitchen efficiency without compromising quality.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
Experience in menu planning and development is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
