Chef - Wallsend

Overview

We currently have an opportunity for a Chef to join Eothen Homes, Wallsend, working 30 hours per week (3 days), with 10 hour shifts over a 3 week rolling rota.

Responsibilities

• Provide a balanced and nutritious diet, through a series of flexible menus, suitable to the needs of residents living in the home.
• Be passionate about food with a flexible approach to ensure residents enjoy positive mealtime experiences.
• Supervise the Kitchen Assistants.

Requirements

• An intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate or appropriate catering training and/or a wide experience of good catering practice is essential for this role.
• An enhanced Disclosure Barring Service check will be required.
