We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Change Manager on a seconded basis.

As a Change Manager within UK Change Execution (the Portfolio Value Management Team), you'll lead the delivery and management of change initiatives that drive better outcomes for our customers, colleagues, and the business. Working closely with business stakeholders, you'll help coordinate the change runway, apply proven methodologies, and ensure change is accepted and adopted across HSBC UK.

You'll also partner with teams to craft clear, engaging communications that align with our strategic priorities-helping everyone navigate change with confidence and clarity.

In this role you will:
  • Deliver change initiatives through compelling communications, contributing to improvements in customer, colleague, and commercial outcomes across HBUK
  • Identify risks and challenges, taking action to minimise impact and ensure safe, collaborative change in line with governance thresholds
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders across multiple teams including HR, Legal, Compliance and Fraud
  • Promote cross-functional teamwork and drive delivery of agreed market priorities
  • Champion innovation, challenge the status quo, and use creativity to generate sustainable solutions
  • Share learnings and best practices to continuously improve ways of working
  • Ensure compliance with HSBC's internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • A working knowledge of CMB operations inclusive of structure, processes and systems is essential
  • Experience of proactively driving and leading others in change delivery and adoption within frontline CMB teams
  • An experienced leader who inspires and motivates their team
  • Ability to translate and analyse data into succinct and meaningful reports to drive risk mitigation
  • Proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Confluence and Jira (service desks)
  • A proven track record of utilising existing AI technology
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Pragmatic, practical mindset with a passion for making things happen
