Description

The successful candidate will lead the LMC in the development and discussion of recommendations for future growth and development of BUCS Super Rugby.

They will act as a key link with the BUCS Rugby Union Sport Advisory Group (SAG) to direct the development of these recommendations.

It is expected that the Chair will act as an ambassador for BUCS, the BUCS Women's Rugby Union programme and establish relationships with all key stakeholders.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador for BUCS and WBSR
• Chair LMC meetings
• Lead the development of the LMC's annual development plan
• Arrange for meeting notes and/or minutes to be distributed to LMC members, SAG Chair and BUCS Executive where appropriate
• Encourage transparent and open communication within the LMC by creating a relationship with BUCS members and WBSR LMC stakeholders
• Support BUCS to establish relationships with key stakeholders to the Higher Education (HE) Rugby programme
• Attend all relevant WBSR LMC meetings and provide any updates on actions from previous meetings
• Comply with the BUCS Volunteer Code of Conduct
