Chain & Hot Work General Operator

Chain & Hot Work (Full Time 39 hours per week) (Temporary) Solid Swivel Company Ltd, Cradley Heath

Established in 1910 the Company has a long history of manufacturing quality engineered products here in the midlands and is a renowned local employer.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Working as part of a small team making chain (Flash Butt Welded).

Flash butt welding of various components.

Presswork and clipping.

Grinding & linishing.

Checking components against Engineering Drawings and/or work instructions.

Training on our products and equipment as required for the role.

Forging/Hot Work.

Chain and shackle making.

Fork Lift Truck Driving.

Hourly Rate: Dependent upon knowledge and experience.

Hours of Work: 6am-2pm Mon/Thurs. 6am-1pm Friday. 36 days holiday per year.
