ActionAid UK is part of a global Federation working alongside women and girls on the frontlines of poverty, inequality and injustice. With a strong base of regular supporters and a growing commitment to long-term, flexible funding, they work in solidarity with movements and organisations leading the fight for gender, economic and climate justice.

The organisation is now entering an important new chapter. Their strategy is rooted in feminist principles, anti-racism and decolonisation, and they are looking firmly to the future: strengthening their funding model, adapting to a fast-changing external environment, and ensuring long-term organisational sustainability.

ActionAid UK is now seeking a new CEO or Co-CEOs to lead them into this next phase. This is an exceptional opportunity to head a bold, values-driven organisation with a clear mission and a strong, committed team. You will work closely with the senior leadership and Board, and collaborate across the ActionAid Federation, to drive impact in a complex and uncertain context.

We are looking for a CEO or Co-CEOs who combine strategic vision with operational acumen; who can inspire trust, champion inclusive leadership, and engage effectively with stakeholders from grassroots partners to government ministers. An understanding of - and commitment to - feminist leadership and anti-racist practice is essential, alongside resilience and judgement to navigate change and complexity.
