We have an opportunity for a centre leader to guide our team at Busy Bees, Manchester Street in Feilding.

We are looking for a professional who sees every child as a unique, someone who will drive educational success through a commitment to holistic improvement. As the anchor of our centre, you will be open-mindedregardingchange and dedicated to ensuring the children's learning journeys are met with inspiration and motivation.

At Busy Bees Manchester Street Early Learning Centre in Fielding, our centre provides nurturing childcare and stimulating environments for young children. We have separate nursery and preschool rooms, as well as areas where tamariki can come together to share tuakana-teina (older-younger child) interactions where wonderful teaching moments are shared.

The Opportunity Te Āheinga

As the Centre Manager, youwill be responsible forthe performance of yourcentreand the development of a high performing team.

Your role will involve delivering quality care and education with a focus on staff management, compliance, and sound financial performance.

You will work alongside your team to ensure excellence, while mentoringkaiakothrough theirProfessional Growth Cycles

You will lead the implementation of acentre-specific strategic plan.

You will be the face of ourcentre, building deep connections within the wider community and ensuring the reputation of thecentreremainsexemplary.

You hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or an equivalent NZQA-approved Level 7 qualification.

You are a registered teacher with a current practicing certificate and a valid First Aid Certificate.

You have proven experience in a leadership role within the ECE sector and a passion for coaching and mentoring staff.

Youpossessin-depth knowledge ofTeWhāriki, MOE Regulations, Licensing Criteria, and Teaching Council requirements.

You have experience working with childcare management software and understand how to manageenrolments, rosters, and occupancy targets.

You are committed to the principles ofTeTiritio Waitangiand ensuringTeReo Māori and tikanga are woven into daily life.
