Centre Manager & MOT Tester

Hours: The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am to 5.00pm, and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview.
Salary: Dependent on experience

The CandidateThe ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. Experience in management within the motor vehicle sector would be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure that Customers receive the best Customer Service and care to ensure that complaints are kept to a minimum
- To ensure all sales targets and KPI's are achieved
- To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
- To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
- Recruit and interview all employees for the Centre
- All MOT Testers must hold a valid MOT Tester licence which is issued by the DVSA
- To carry out MOT test to DVSA standard and input the details on the DVSA computer system
- To fit any product specified by the Company to customer vehicles and carry out a range of ancillary services to customer vehicles
- Identify any training needs for employees to progress and develop within the Company
- Support other Centres, when asked, when necessary
- To adhere to the Company's Policies & Procedures including Health & Safety, Compliance and Stock Control
- To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
- The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
- Liaise with Head Office and other Departments
The role reports directly to the Regional Manager.
