CMAC is a world-class centre of medicines manufacturingresearch, training and translation. Working in partnership withindustry, CMAC's goal is to transform the development andmanufacture of medicines through the exploitation of digitaldesign and advanced manufacturing technologies. Our portfolioof activity is focussed on four key pillars to deliver: high qualitymanufacturing research; the workforce of the future through skillsdevelopment and training; effective translation of research intoindustry and, to continue to develop our world leading facilitiesand Lab of the Future infrastructure. Led by the University of Strathclyde with our partners in theUniversity of Leeds, Imperial College London and University ofSheffield, CMAC has secured a Centre for Doctoral Training(CDT) grant funded by UKRI to launch the new CDT inCyberphysical Systems for Medicine Development andManufacturing (CEDAR). Developed in collaboration withindustry partners, CEDAR will train 90 future leaders with themultidisciplinary skills essential for advancing next-generation,sustainable medicines manufacturing. The CEDAR programmeplaces individual students at its core, providing world-classtechnical training, impactful research opportunities, and theestablishment of a lifelong network of peers, academic facultyand industry experts. Graduates will embark on transformativeresearch projects aligned with the Industry 5.0 paradigm and,develop the way that cyber-physical systems can help makemedicines manufacturing more sustainable, resilient and human centric.

Critical to the success of the post will be an experienced, skilledand highly organised self-starter to join us as an Engagementand Outreach Officer. The role would suit candidates who aremulti-taskers and experienced in delivering engagementactivities and events to meet the needs of the programme andexternal stakeholders.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skillswith the ability to demonstrate prioritisation and scheduling ofyour own workload. Excellent organisational, communication andinterpersonal skills will be essential.
