We are currently recruiting a Cath Lab Radiographer for a Hospital in Cork, Ireland .

Full-time and part-time positions available

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures within the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab).
  • Assist cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team during cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Prepare and operate specialised Cath Lab imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure radiation safety standards are maintained for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate imaging records, patient documentation, and procedural data.
  • Support infection prevention and control practices within the Cath Lab environment.
  • Participate in equipment quality assurance, maintenance checks, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior radiographers and other team members when required.
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, physiologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Radiography Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience working as a Cath Lab Radiographer.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work within a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Strong commitment to quality, patient safety, and best clinical practice.
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver a high standard of patient care at all times.
  • High level of clinical and technical competency in Cath Lab procedures and imaging equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
