Catering Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Catering Engineerto join our clients service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of commercial catering equipment, ensuring minimal downtime for customers across the Munster Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial catering equipment
• Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety checks
• Respond to service calls promptly and professionally
• Complete job sheets and reports accurately and on time
• Install new commercial catering equipment when required
• Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Participate in an on call rota (approximately 1 in 6 weekends)
• Carry out warranty checks and repairs

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering equipment or engineering industry preferred
• Gas experience desirable (training can be provided)
• Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding skills advantageous
• Full, clean driving licence
• Strong problem solving ability and attention to detail
• Good communication and customer service skills
