Catering Assistant Term Time Only

Manpower Recruitment have teamed up with an established College in Oxford City Centre and are looking for a Full Time Catering Assistant (Term Time only)

The role will be covering 3 sites in alternative depending on rota, all in a close distance.

The Pay for the role is £13.50/hour and will be working 40hrs per week.

We are looking for a reliable and flexible Catering Service Assistant to join our team. This is a term-time only role (approx. 42.8 weeks per year) with a mix of straight and split shifts.Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparation of assigned dishes (when in Pizza Bar and café)
• Correct use of equipment, materials and foodstuff to meet both Health and Safety and Food Hygiene regulations
• Prepare meals and assist with counter service duties in the Bar
• Clean equipment and work areas to meet laid down standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Provide a professional service for all service users
• Observe all food hygiene policies and procedures
• When the cafe is closed, assist with food service in the main dining hall, SCR, Bar and all other food and beverage service areas.
• Guide casual staff in their duties.

What we offer:

• Shift pattern: 2 straight shifts & 3 split shifts per week.
  • Hours between 7am - 7pm (split shifts include a 2-4pm break).
• 5 days out of 7, including some weekends (rotas aim to provide occasional weekends off).

What we're looking for:

• Previous catering or hospitality experience.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Flexibility and reliability with shift patterns.
• A valid Enhanced DBS is highly desirable (applicants with one will be prioritised).
