Job Description

Aramark UK is currently recruiting an experienced Catering Manager to join our team working at Hartpury University & College, GL19 3BE.

Responsible for the overall catering operation, with a strong focus on front of house management, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Hartpury University and Hartpury College is a specialist institution near Gloucester, England, focused on animal, agriculture, business, equine, sport, and veterinary nursing education. The campus is a 360 hectare rural estate with significant investments in facilities, including a working farm, an Agri Tech Centre, equine and canine centres, and professional sports facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all activities within the unit.
  • Ensure implementation and compliance of brand standards.
  • Maintain the company financial system including daily sales, food production, and overall site budget.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety/food safety standards within catering outlets.
  • Smart scheduling of team scheduling and control of labour management.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Handle customer feedback and special dietary requests.
  • Hold and attend regular team meetings.
  • Provides cover at other UEL campus when needed.
  • Build strong client relationships within UEL.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in a management role working in a hospitality environment.
  • Experience leading a team.
