Position Catering Assistant

Salary £12.71

Working Pattern Monday to Friday 10.30am - 3.00pm

What You Will Do

• Keep the catering operation running smoothly across busy shifts.
• Oversee tasks, maintain presentation standards and ensure all areas stay clean and welcoming.
• Prepare and serve food safely, following all hygiene regulations.
• Assist with set up, service and clear down for weekend hospitality functions.
• Complete required health & safety, food safety and temperature checks.
• Work across different catering areas to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Promote a professional, friendly environment and lead by example.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in a catering, hospitality or customer service environment.
• A positive, proactive and hands-on approach to work.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy setting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety.
• A reliable, self-motivated and hardworking attitude.
• Flexibility and a willingness to support different areas of the catering operation when required.
