Catering Assistant

Job Overview

An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of Support Services staff within the catering department based at Stratheden Hospital. The main duties include maintaining a clean and safe working environment for the delivery of the catering service, covering duties within the main kitchen, carrying out basic food preparation, and serving patients and visitors in our dining room.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe working environment for catering services.
• Cover duties within the main kitchen as required.
• Carry out basic food preparation and serve patients and visitors in the dining room.

Qualifications

• Up-to-date Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Previous experience in a large scale catering environment is advantageous, though full training will be provided.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 11am to 3pm.
