Are you experienced in the Catering Field and looking for a new opportunity? Do you want to progress your career in an outstanding NHS Trust? The Facilities team require a Catering Assistant.

Shift Pattern: 6:30am-2:30pm Monday-Friday.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience or relevant qualifications in Catering
• Be personable, motivating and friendly
• Have a desire to provide a comfortable environment for our patients
• Have strong communication and organisational skills

Main duties of the job On a day to day basis, duties will include:

• Assist in the delivery of sandwich/salad prep & picking and packing in the Catering Department
• Ensuring that stock levels are maintained and placing orders where required
• Support your colleagues in other areas of catering service delivery
• Work as part of the team in the delivery of Catering Services across the site

Person specification & Qualifications

• Basic Education - reading, writing and basic numeric skills
• Able to use a tablet to order patient food and take surveys
• Able to operate cleaning equipment of industrial quality
• Able to electronically order required cleaning stocks
