Catering Assistant

Pinnacle Group is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant (with Vending Duties) to support our catering operations in a staff canteen at Deeside Industrial Estate CH5.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining and replenishing our on site vending machines. You need to be reliable, efficient, and have a passion for excellent service.

This is a permanent role, 25hrs per week, Monday to Friday. Various shifts available day & night (to be discussed at interview).

Requirements and responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation, presentation and service of food along with barista service
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
• Replenishing stock and supplies as required
• Carrying out vending duties, including restocking machines, checking temperatures, recording usage, and ensuring machines are fully operational
• Handling cashless payment systems where required
• Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
• Providing friendly and efficient customer service
• Being flexible and able to work in a multi service team
• Previous catering or vending experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
