The job requirements are detailed below.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher to join our Media team, supporting the delivery of our Level 3 TV and Film Production programme.
The successful candidate will have strong practical knowledge and experience of TV, film or wider media production and be confident supporting learners in developing skills across the production process.
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in areas such as:
- Camera operation and cinematography
- Lighting and sound recording
- Video editing and post-production
- Pre-production planning
- Short film and factual production
- Adobe Premiere Pro and associated creative software
- Developing ideas from initial concept through to final production
The role will involve working collaboratively with the Media team to deliver our UAL qualifications and supporting learners to produce creative work to a professional standard.
The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical sessions, prepare appropriate teaching resources, assess learner work and contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum.
You will be a dedicated, flexible and enthusiastic individual who can motivate learners, develop their technical and creative skills and support them in reaching their full potential.
Teaching experience within Further Education and/or Higher Education would be advantageous, alongside relevant professional or industry experience within TV, film or media production.
