Casual External Invigilator

Bishop Auckland College Group is seeking reliable and professional Casual External

Invigilators to support the delivery of examinations throughout the academic year.

Invigilators play a vital role in ensuring examinations are conducted in accordance with

awarding organisation regulations and that all students have a fair and secure

assessment environment.

Working on a casual basis, you will supervise students during examinations, ensuring the

integrity of the assessment process while maintaining a calm and supportive atmosphere.

We are looking for individuals who are professional, observant and able to remain calm

under pressure. Experience of working in a position of responsibility and supervision.

Key information

Grade: £15.26 per hour (inclusive of bank holiday and holiday entitlement) - as of 1 April

2026

Hours: variable hours per week, until August 2026

Closing date: Wednesday 1 April 2026 at 12 noon

This role will include responsibilities within safeguarding and the postholder will be engaging

in regulated activity.
