Job Description

Job Title: Caseworker Assistant - SEND (Assessment & Review)

Overview

We are seeking a Caseworker Assistant to support the SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Assessment & Review team within Children's Services.

This is a key administrative role focused on supporting statutory SEND processes, ensuring accurate data management, and helping the team meet strict legal deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to SEND caseworkers across assessment and review processes
  • Log and track EHCNA requests and Annual Review paperwork
  • Send reminders and ensure all documentation is received within required timescales
  • Prepare panel agendas, take minutes, and distribute feedback/outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records on Liquid Logic (EHM module) and other systems
  • Support data quality and ensure information is up to date and compliant
  • Liaise with schools, families, and professionals to gather and share information
  • Process invoices using Agresso for approval
  • Assist with general admin tasks and support team projects as required
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Good attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Confident communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience using case management systems (e.g. Liquid Logic) is desirable
  • Knowledge of SEND / EHCP processes is desirable
