Carpet and Vinyl Fitter

WBG are currently looking for a vinyl floor layer to join our team can be directly employed or subcontract. We have a large quantity of kitchens and bathrooms to renew throughout Pembrokeshire.

Responsibilities For This Floor Layer Will Include

Full floor laying duties

Fitting floors to wet rooms, including cap & cove flooring, upstands, and hot and cold welds

Fitting carpets

Measuring, estimating and ordering quantities of floor coverings

Cuts, spreading adhesive cement and latex screeding

Laying out centrelines and underlays of hardboard sheets

Covering materials and joining sections of sheet covering

Prepare and complete floor laying and finished using vinyl, linoleum, rubber, sheet (including Polysafe)

What we are looking for in our ideal Floor Layer:

Competent in all aspects of floor laying and with experience of maintenance work on domestic and commercial properties, including for general repairs and refurbishments. A background of general floor laying work. A current driving licence is essential.
