Caretaker

School Caretaker required in Wakefield

At Engage Education Services, we're currently recruiting for a School Caretaker in Wakefield. They are looking for an experienced School Caretaker with experience managing a School campus.

This would be a split shift - starting at 7 am to open the school and ending at 6:30 pm to close the school. Hours to be discussed.

Our Engage Education Services team specialises in the placement of non classroom based staff including Administrators, HR, Finance and Facilities.

About the role

As a School Caretaker, you'll be an experienced facilities professional who supervises work across the school with both external and internal contractors. You will have keyholder responsibilities and will be expected to:

• Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Dust and wipe down surfaces
• Clean and sanitise restrooms
• Empty trash cans and replace liners
• Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor

This is a full time, temporary permanent role.

About you

• Experience working within a school environment
• A valid DBS on the DBS update service
• Be available to interview and start immediately
