Overview

This part time caretaker role (morning shift) supports a busy business centre in Widnes, ensuring high quality client service, building maintenance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consistently high standard of customer care to internal and external clients.
• Perform full range maintenance and caretaker services in the business centre.
• Complete day to day maintenance and repair tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, heating, air conditioning, flooring, outdoor landscaping, gritting, snow removal and general facility repairs.
• Ensure building security and the general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas meet required standards.
• Support meeting and conference room set up and general client support.
• Open the site daily, check for overnight issues, react to emergency situations, meet deadlines and work closely with the centre team.

Skills and Attributes required

• All round practical, hands on individual with a wide range of hand tool skills.
• High standard of personal presentation and articulate communication.
• First line customer care ability on a daily basis.
• Capacity to develop and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Strong troubleshooting, planning and organisational skills.
• Flexible, proactive, and works well under pressure.
• Team player who takes pride in work and customer service support.
• Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.

The Hours

25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 12:30 pm. Flexibility required to support business needs.
