Day Care Assistant

Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster, Lancashire

Salary: £13.45 per hour with overtime at £14.95 per hour

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8am-8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Right to Work: Must have Right to Work in the UK for a minimum of 18 months from the agreed start date. No visa sponsorship.

About the Role

Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Day Care Assistants to join the team at Ashton Manor, our state of the art care home in Lancaster. You will play a crucial role in delivering high quality, person centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
• Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

Experience Required

• Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
• Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
