Tunbridge Wells Care Centre is a bright, modern home in a residential area of Royal Tunbridge Wells, offering person-centred nursing, dementia and palliative care for up to 70 residents. The home features spacious ensuite rooms, wheelchair-accessible facilities, welcoming communal areas, a dedicated hair salon and large landscaped gardens, all supported by a compassionate team committed to kindness, dignity and comfort.

As a Care Assistant, you'll provide compassionate, person-centred support to our residents, helping them live with dignity, independence, and joy.Role: Care AssistantLocation: 142 Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 2EDSalary: £12.81 - £13.27 (Dependent on NVQ 2 OR 3 Qualifications) Hours: Day shifts available - choose part-time or full-time. 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm) or flexible split shifts to suit your lifestyle. Weekend and public holiday availability on a fair rota basis.In this rewarding role, you'll work individually and as part of a supportive team to deliver the highest standards of care and companionship to our residents.What you'll be doing:

• Checking on residents throughout the day and night to ensure their wellbeing and comfort
• Providing personal care with kindness and respect, supporting residents with daily activities while encouraging their independence
• Helping residents maintain their dignity and self-esteem through patient, compassionate care
• Contributing to care plans by working alongside residents and their families or representatives
• Supporting residents to take part in wellbeing and social activities both inside and outside the home
• Building positive, trusting relationships with residents, families, and your team

What you'll bring:

• A professional, reliable, and flexible approach to your work
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A respectful, courteous, patient, and compassionate manner at all times
• Ideally, a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
• The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
