Reference: fc0e87da Personal Assistant required in BS15 area for 30 hours/ week @ £14/ hour Start date: ASAP Working pattern: Monday to Friday between 10:00-
16.00. Personal Assistant required for a non verbal 43 year old gentleman (J) with Down Syndrome.

J lives at home with his parents in Hanham.

Main Duties

Personal Care.

Administering medication and support attending medical appointments.

Household tasks: some meal preparation, light cleaning, tidying, ironing and laundry.

J enjoys swimming and has a membership at David Lloyd's.

J attends a drama therapy session once a week and like to go out for food and drinks.

J also has an annual membership for Wake the Tiger and Slimbridge.

About You

• You will have good communication skills and will be able to understand non verbal prompts.

J is very good at communicating his needs.

Be patient, understanding and empathetic.

Honest, reliable and punctual.

A driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive J's car.

This is an employed role and attracts the normal statutory rights attached.
