Card Scheme Compliance Officer

The role of the Card Scheme Compliance Officer is to be a reference point for all Elavon business lines in respect to card scheme regulations and to act as a liaison on behalf of Elavon business lines with the card schemes. The role involves management and distribution of Card Scheme publications within Elavon and ensures Elavon maintains compliance by maintaining documentation and records, preparing reports, completing research and coordinating procedures/responses in relation to Card Scheme rules.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage the Card Brand Bulletins and maintain oversight of Elavon's compliance with impacting mandates
• Maintain oversight of the Card Schemes requirements for mandated reporting
• Work with stakeholders to draft content for customer/partner communication channels
• Administrative role for access to Card Scheme tools
• Query and issue management
• Content creation related to Card Scheme rules for external and internal communication channels highlighting key focus areas, impacts and opportunities
• Keep up to date with Card Schemes rules and share knowledge and best practices on card scheme compliance within Elavon

Skills / Experience required

• Good understanding of the payments business, the supply chain and the role all schemes play and the resulting risks and opportunities
• Good communication skills - written and oral
• Strong eye for detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong collaboration skills

Location expectations

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week.
