Car Sales Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected franchise-approved car dealership in Cardiff for the position of Car Sales Manager.

Duties of the Car Sales Manager:

• Oversee the activities of the new and used vehicle sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
• Formulate and implement strategies to optimise profitability from vehicle sales, finance, insurance, and accessories
• Manage vehicle purchasing, stock control, and forecourt operations
• Drive customer satisfaction and retention through effective team leadership and personal example
• Collaborate with senior management to develop policies and procedures that enhance dealership performance
• Maintain high standards of process efficiency and cost control within the sales department
• Act as a role model for dealership standards and brand representation, ensuring excellent customer experience

Requirements of the Car Sales Manager:

• Proven management experience within a franchise-approved car dealership
• Successful track record in vehicle sales management, ideally within a busy or medium to large-sized dealership
• Strong background in Finance & Insurance (F&I)
• Demonstrable leadership skills with a focus on team motivation and development
• Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Experience leading a team within a fast-paced automotive environment is essential
