Capacity Installation Technician - North London, Infrastructure Delivery

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We keep the cloud running by supporting all data centers with servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. This entry level role is part of the Infrastructure Delivery team that scales and deploys new data center infrastructure in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Install cabling and new racks within data centers.
• Basic build and troubleshooting of network devices.
• Create and attach labels and barcodes.
• Manage inventory of related materials.
• Follow defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Work in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
• Manual handling and lifting of equipment (weight limits per regulations).
• Regularly work at heights and from ladders.
• Operate in noisy areas with temperature extremes.
• Must have a personal car and ability to travel within the geographical work area.

Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience dealing effectively with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure.
• Knowledge of server hardware and components.
