Cancer MDT Co-ordinator

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic team player to join the Cancer Services team of MDT Co-ordinators based at St Mark's - London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.

Main duties of the job

The MDT co-ordinator post is pivotal in ensuring timely patient progression through their pathway both before and after a cancer diagnosis has been made. Experience of working in a busy acute hospital environment is a prerequisite.

Person Specification Education/Qualifications
  • Educated to A-level/NVQ level 3? 5 GCSEs, graded at C or above
  • Medical terminology course
Knowledge & Experience
  • Previous NHS experience? Significant experience as an MDT co-ordinator or data analyst/manager? Extensive experience of Microsoft Office applications and database software.
  • Excellent understanding of the Cancer Waiting Times guidance.
  • Experience of collecting cancer waiting times data & understanding of the guidance.
  • High standard of written communication skills in supporting information.
  • Experience of using video-conferencing.
